Martha,
I LOVE your voice. I am actually here on your blog looking for your insight into Vision Boards. I read your article in O Magazine this month, but the article does not seem to be posted on the website. I am the author of the book, The Artist Within, A Guide to Becoming Creatively Fit. I also recommend "dream collages" as one of my creativity workouts. I use simple, visual art exercises to physiologically access and strengthen our right brain muscle so that we can operate with more of a whole brain. Thank you for your voice validating the "artist within" all of us and its ability to help us to manifest the change we want in our life. Cheers! Whitney

Ha - after being stuck at home with no vacation for 2 years, I'd gladly switch places with her (so long as I was going on a holiday trip, not if I had to travel for work). ;)

This demonstrates why we need a good rail system across the country!

My dear Martha that made my day. I was stuck at LaGuardia for 6 hours with my son yesterday who is 4 years old. I, entrepreneurial mom, with wild can’t sit still for more than 21 seconds son Lucas tried our best not to go crazy so we did what any cultural modernist family would do, he watched Japanese anime films as I worked on presentations and contracts, grateful for my wifi and MAC. We made the best of the day and were saved by a beautiful Haitian boy who played with us for most of the day. I am home now, for the next 24 hours and then back on the road, hopefully there won’t be any airport drama tomorrow as I head to DC. Here’s to all the road warrior moms out there living their lives boldly.

Martha - I am a fellow airport hobo girl. I too seek outlets and spots to get WiFi at airports. On May 26, I fly back to Rome then on to Greece to film and report as an American on the street in Athens;) I love your little video vignettes. Keep them coming.

I have a beautiful picture somewhere of my friend Cheryl asleep in her sleeping bag lying on a flattened cardboard box on the floor of the Moscow airport in 1998!

In front of her is her polystyrene cup from her coffee but it appears as if she is begging for money.

My sister, Cheryl and I were travelling between London and Nepal via Moscow and New Delhi and had a long layover in Moscow airport. It was freezing cold with snow lining the runways and we did not have roubles to by a cup of coffee. A kind man bought us each a cup after which Cheryl took a nap.

12 year ago it was an adventure to take a cheap flight with numerous layovers. Now I fly direct!

I have been there too!!!! I found my SPOT in a hallway at O'Hare. I shared a special night with a salesman from Ohio and a double outlet. What to do when your 7PM flight doesn't take off until 1:30AM. Find the outlet, guard the outlet. Hope you don't have to go to the bathroom.
