*Note: Air travel to and from your departure city to Johannesburg, Londolozi gratuities, any incidentals, and spa treatments are not included in the registration fee.

Space is limited to a maximum of 12 people per STAR, depending on occupancy requests.

There is a $500 deposit required to apply for African STAR. This, along with your fully completed application, is a demonstration of your commitment to joining us on the trip. Once we receive your deposit, you will automatically receive a link to the online application. Applications are due no later than October 23, 2024, but these trips often sell out prior to the close of the application window.

If accepted, your $500 deposit will be applied to the cost of the trip. If accepted and you decline the spot offered, your deposit will be forfeited. If you are not accepted, your deposit will be refunded promptly.

REFUND POLICY

In the unfortunate event that your plans must change for any other reason, here is our “we-hope-you-don’t-need-it” cancellation policy:

If you cancel on or before January 31, 2025, you will be refunded the registration fee paid, less a $2,000 administration fee. If you cancel between February 1-28, 2025, 50% of the registration fee paid will be refunded. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after March 1, 2025.

No refund will be issued if you are unable to join the trip due to not fully complying with the testing or vaccination requirements to board a flight, enter the destination country, or as outlined in the STAR Attendee Agreement.

We highly recommend having travel insurance with specific COVID-19 cancellation and curtailment provisions.
